Posta Romana fined $32m

The Romanian national postal operator has been fined $32m by the country’s industry regulator. Posta Romana has been ordered to pay 103.3m lei for abusing its dominant position in the postal market.

According to a statement by the regulator, Posta Romana had offered lower tariffs to different companies in order to under-cut its competitors.

This violated the law on two counts, it was confirmed.
