DHL adds servicepoint in UAE

DHL Express has expanded its presence in the UAE with the opening of a new servicepoint in Mirdif City Centre. The servicepoint will “ensure that DHL continues to meet the growing logistics needs in the UAE by offering increased accessibility for its customers across the country”, the company said.

DHL currently operates 23 servicepoints across the UAE, six of which are located in key shopping malls across the country, including Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, Dubai Mall, Dubai Festival City, Sharjah City Centre and now Mirdif City Centre.

Plans are currently underway to open additional retail servicepoints across the UAE in 2011.

“As the longest established logistics company in the UAE, DHL is continuously looking to better serve our customers. The opening of the new servicepoint in Mirdif City Centre is yet another example of our commitment to ensuring that we provide ease and convenience for our customers across the UAE“, said Frank Ungerer, country manager, DHL Express UAE.

“In 2011, DHL will focus on strengthening its servicepoint offering with the opening of additional servicepoints throughout the UAE. Our continued investment in the UAE is part of our ongoing strategy to further build on our reputation as a key business partner for our customers in the UAE. With the new servicepoint, we will provide customers with increased convenience and accessibility for all of their express logistics needs”, he added.
