Art Technology Group Inc., (ATG NASDAQ), is to provide Consignia, formerly The Post Office Group, with its full suite of Dynamo e-commerce applications.

Consignia will use ATG's systems to support a new transactional e-channel, due to be launched later this year. The goal is to strengthen Consignia's online presence, providing a greater level of functionality and customer centricity.

Consignia is the latest blue chip company to select ATG's e-commerce applications. Other clients include Kingfisher, HSBC, Sony and General Motors.

Tangible business benefits Using ATG's Dynamo applications, Consignia will be able to implement a single strategy for managing its existing and future online services across multiple channels. ATG's flexible applications also mean that Consignia can respond more proactively to the needs of consumer and business customers and adapt content and services to suit their different needs.

A tailored customer solution ATG's technology will be used to build a new portal platform, the framework for a number of new online services housed under the Consignia brands; Royal Mail, ParcelForce Worldwide and Post Office. These include an online bill presentment and payment service for business and consumers called Bills Onlinea , and an online shop offering a range of branded products. ATG's unique e-Business scenarios also give Consignia the ability to manage online promotions, respond to customer feedback and data capture information to enable a more customer centric user experience.
