Kuenhe + Nagel extends SR Technics deal

SR Technics, a provider of technical solutions for airlines, has renewed its contract with Kuehne + Nagel in the field of aviation logistics. For more than 15 years Kuehne + Nagel has been supporting the globally operating SR Technics Group with industry specific services.

SR Technics manages a diversified global customer base including major airlines, aircraft leasing companies and original equipment manufacturers.

The group maintains globally more than 800 aircrafts with almost 80,000 different components.

“With our extensive network of partnerships and line stations, it is of utmost importance that our supply chain works smoothly like a Swiss clock,” said Felix Ammann, SR Technics’ senior vice president procurement & material services.

“Kuehne + Nagel, with its global transportation network, its dedicated aviation logistics specialists and best-in-class processes as well as its powerful information technology, is a reliable partner in fulfilling our high requirements.”

Manfred Schellhammer, managing director of Kuehne + Nagel AG in Switzerland, said: “We consider the relationship with SR Technics as a strategic partnership.

“The extended cooperation underlines the attractiveness of our ‘Supply the Sky’ concept, which covers competencies throughout the entire aircraft lifecycle – from individual aircraft-on-ground management through to performance-based supply chain solutions.”
