Mass mailers selling aide

Consignia is to extend its range of sales support beyond its own sales force and into agents sales teams. The scheme which is known as MASS (Mailing Agents Sales Support) will inform the mailing agents sales force of future marketing activity, so that they can identify opportunities.
The two firms taking part in the pilot which is being spearheaded by Consignia’s Royal Mail unit, are Mail Marketing International and K2 Direct. The post will provide the two agencies with market research, sales promotions and campaign to help them promote their existing
clients. “Royal Mail wants to develop a closer, more collaborative working relationship with mailing agents to support the continued growth of mail media,” said Steve Patrick, head of sales channels and co-suppliers at Consignia. “The MASS Scheme is just one example of the efforts we are making to achieve this goal for our mutual benefit and hope its success will lead to more joint initiatives, in the future.”
