Palletways inaugurates new IT system

EXPRESS PALLETISED FREIGHT SERVICE PROVIDER Palletways UK has introduced a new £750,000 IT system across its 71-strong member network The system, which has taken seven months to implement, offers enhanced information on consignment status from collection through to final delivery
Using the system, Palletways members can track and trace their consignments at the deliv-ery depot or out for delivery, and at the same screen they can check the booking information and vehide route.
Paul Heany, IT director at Palletways, says:
“Through the implementation of leading-edge technology we are bringing sophistication to the palletised freight industry.”
