TPG and Korea Post Sign MOU
October 16, 2001 — “TPG, through TNT Express International, and Korea Post
have announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding outlining
an alliance in the field of International Express delivery. Operations are
planned to commence mid-November 2001. This is the first commercial alliance
signed by the Korean State Post with an international partner. The alliance
will immediately extend the geographical coverage offered to Korean
customers by 72 further countries worldwide. In addition, TPG and Korea Post
will jointly explore opportunities to further expand this strategic
