European alliance enters American address data market
London-based international address verification specialist Capscan and German data quality software house Uniserv have formed an alliance to enter the North American market. The two firms have established a joint sales and support base in North Carolina, under the brand Uniserv North America, and say mailers stand to save thousands of dollars making use of their address verification services.
They are promising the “next generation” of international address verification and geo-coding capabilities, covering 240 territories around the world.
Products and services include Uniserv’s data quality management systems and Capscan’s Matchcode International offering, which provides worldwide address verification.
American mailers will also be able to use the pay-by-search web-based addressing service Capscan OnDemand and the online data cleansing service Capscan Integrity.
Businesses using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SAP, Salesforce.com or the Oracle Siebel CRM platforms will also be able to make use of fully integrated versions of the Uniserv North America services.
Experience
Capscan’s David Mead says there’s strong demand for data quality in North America
The two European companies are touting their 80 years of combined experience providing data quality services for the likes of Amazon, eBay, Walgreens, Ford, General Motors, Time Warner and Proctor & Gamble.
Expanding into the busy North American market follows a “very successful” year for Capscan in the UK market and Pforzheim-based Uniserv in the European market.
Capscan sales director David Mead said North America was a “major part” of Capscan and Uniserv’s international expansion plans.
He said: “There is strong demand for address verification and data quality management tools and expertise as organisations fight hard to gain and sustain the competitive edge in their domestic and international markets.”
