TNT Latvia delivery service lowers tariffs in Baltic states

RIGA, Oct 18, BNS – TNT Latvia express delivery service company has lowered tariffs for deliveries between Baltic states by 40 percent as of mid-October, TNT regional office head reported.

Martins Gerkens said the new tariffs apply on deliveries by vehicles of all packages and cargo weighing between 0.5-1000 kilograms.

The decision to lower the tariffs for deliveries between the Baltic states was made based on market research which showed there is a high demand for delivery of documents, packages and small cargo in this region.

TNT Latvia during the nine months of 2001 delivered in Latvia and sent abroad 776 tons of deliveries which is three times more than in the same period last year.

TNT Latvia is a Latvian representation of the international express delivery and logistics company TNT. The international deliveries are done both by air transport and vehicles.
