Emery contract with Minera Lomas Bayas

Emery Worldwide said it has received an exclusive two-year multimodal transportation contract for Minera Lomas Bayas, a copper mine in northern Chile.
Emery will handle all air transportation of materials from the United States and Canada to the mine, northeast of the coastal port of Antofagasta. In addition to air freight services, Emery is also providing ocean transportation services to the mine.
Emery’s Santiago office handles the air services, while the company’s Antofagasta office manages the ocean shipments. Both offices work closely with Emery’s Houston-based Global Project Management group, which specializes in supply-chain management of oversized and breakbulk cargo for large development projects.
