Satori Software alliance with SAP boosts support for Postalsoft
Address management software specialist Satori Software has signed an agreement with German software giant SAP AG to become an official reseller of its SAP BusinessObjects Postalsoft software. Satori, a US-based subsidiary of French mail services firm Neopost, said the deal would see it selling the software alongside its own existing products, and providing direct support for users of SAP BusinessObjects Postalsoft.
The company also said the OEM partnership could be the basis for the provision of future mailing technology as the mailing industry evolves.
SAP BusinessObjects is the result of SAP’s acquisition of French software company Business Objects in 2007. Its Postalsoft software helps businesses manage address data, from address correction and encoding to mail preparation and entry planning.
The software suite includes three different editions – Desktop Mailer, Business Edition and Professional Edition – for different types of mailer. The software is certified under the US Postal Service’s ZIP+4 code certification system, the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS), and the Presort Accuracy Validation Evaluation (PAVE) programme.
Kevin Gilroy, senior vice president for ecosystems and channels at SAP America, Inc., said his company was confident that Satori Software would provide exceptional service and expertise.
He said: “As a valued reseller, Satori Software will provide high-quality service combined with industry-leading mailing preparation solutions to the SAP BusinessObjects Postalsoft user community.”
Corey Smith, vice president at Seattle-based Satori Software, said the partnership with SAP would mean re-engaging with software products with which he had many years of experience.
“We are committed to delivering a superior and positive user experience,” he said. “It’s a top priority, and users of SAP BusinessObjects Postalsoft will reap the benefits of direct access to our technical support and new services when needed.”
