Atlas Air network expansion in Europe and North America

Atlas Air has announced that it has added three new hubs to its international cargo transportation network. (11/26/2001)

The new hubs are Liege in eastern Belgium, Anchorage in Alaska, and Miami in the southeastern US state of Florida.

Liege is the express freight hub for one of Atlas Air’s European partners, while Ancorage is now Atlas Air’s connection to Asia. The Anchorage hub also provides air freight services to the four US cities of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.

The hub in Miami is now Atlas Air’s Central and South American gateway, including an eight-hour service to Sao Paolo in Brazil.
