Danzas wins contract as logistics provider for Seat
Seat, the Spanish subsidiary of German carmaker Volkswagen, has appointed Danzas as its new logistics provider in place of TNT, the Dutch multinational which until now was responsible for shipping components to the group’s Martorell production line.
Seat sources state that Danzas secured the contract thanks to a superior logistical and economic package. The replacement comes months after Seat chairman Bernd Pieschrieder severely criticised strike action among both suppliers and the transport sector for causing interruptions to production.
