Wincanton win Conoco contract

Wincanton has won a five year contract for the distribution of Conoco petroleum products including Jet-branded petrol and diesel, aviation fuel, marine oil and LPG.
The contract, previously handled in-house, will see the transfer of 130 drivers who were employed by Conoco, and 63 dedicated motive units and 65 trailers mainly in Conoco Jet livery.

The contract hub is based at Immingham in Lincolnshire, but will also use sites at Belfast, Plymouth, Jarrow and Kingsbury as regional distribution points. Wincanton will collect products from terminals and make nationwide deliveries to retail and commercial outlets in the UK.
