Exel has opened a 190,000 sq ft site at Marston Gate in Befordshire to handle the growing volume of traffic for Argos Direct, the retailer’s home delivery business, following an extension to its contract. It makes some 40,000 deliveries a week using a fleet of 300 dedicated vehicles.
