Bureau de Change Special Promotion

Service until now only offered online now available at all post offices Following lengthy negotiations with the NFSP, Post Office Ltd (POL) has announced that from tomorrow (Thursday 19 July 2012), all post offices will be able to offer euros and US dollar sales of over £1,000 at the same exchange rate as POL offers online.

Similarly, purchases of new Travel Money cards or top ups of existing cards to the value of £700 or more will also get the internet rate.

Subject to sales performance, the offer will run until 31 August 2012.

The NFSP believes this is good news for subpostmasters, many of whom find themselves forced to explain to customers why they are unable to offer the same currency rates as those available from the Post Office website.
