Pakistan Post introduces EMO service

Pakistan Post under its modernisation plan, on Monday introduced Electronic Money Order (EMO) service between eleven cities of the country through its General Post Offices (GPOs) for quick money transfer. Federal Minister for Postal Services Sardar Alhaj Muhammad Umar Gorgaij inaugurated the service at a ceremony organised at Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by Secretary Postal Services Raja Ikram-ul-Haq, Director General Pakistan Post Syed Ghulam Panjtan Rizvi and other senior officials of the organisation. Federal Minister addressing on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Post in introducing this state of the art service at economical rates for the citizens of the country and postal customers using the latest Information Technology System.
