City Link is strong link

Rentokil Initial has praised the strong performance from its parcels business Initial City Link for contributing to a rise of over 6% in group operating profit in 2001.
The parcels delivery division saw profit soar by 15.9% to £31.4m while the group as a whole reported a 6.3% increase to £436.8m for the year.
City Link gained a number of new customers and regained some former businesses in the UK during 2001. The opening of a new distribution hub in 2000 also contributed to improved productivity.
