DHL opens tenth depot in Portugal

DHL Portugal recently inaugurated its tenth depot in Portugal in Viseu (in the central part of the country). Investment costs were EUR 900,000. DHL Portugal is a subsidiary of DHL Worldwide Express and has been active in Portugal since 1982. Last year the firm made a turnover of approximately EUR 25 million with a staff of 400 employees. It delivers roughly 1.5 million shipments in Portugal with three aircraft (a A300/two B727s) and 260 vehicles.
