Chronopost Portugal posts good results

Chronopost Portugal posted a turnover of EUR 21.75 million in 2001 and aims at passing the EUR 25 million mark this year, Olivier Establet. CEO of Chronopost Portugal, said recently.
The market leader will open a new depot in Alfena near Porto this year for the B2B parcel and document sector (38% market share) and upgrade its internet presence.
Specifically, a tracking and tracing system will be installed on the website, and customers will be able to mail documents electronically. Chronopost currently has a 12% share of the Portuguese courier, express and parcel market.
