Consignia home shopping up 10%

Post Office group Consignia says revenue from its home shopping fulfilment service rose 15% to £500 million in the past year. The figure was revealed as Consignia launched a new online customer delivery selection service this week.
The new “Decide and Deliver“ service enables customers to create their own list of preferred delivery options, such as post office collection or delivery to a neighbour. These are then stored centrally by Consignia online.
Retailers can access each cutomers preferred option without having to advertise all the options on their own sites. Thorntons and Blackstar.com are testing the service.
