PNL to take on Swedish

Following the withdrawal of Posten AB (Sweden Post) from Pan-Nordic Logistics, Post Danmark has confirmed the remaining shareholders, itself and Posten Norge, have begun a cooperation agreement with AB Expressgods in the Swedish market.
Expressgods handles parcels to and from Sweden to Pan Nordic Logistics’s partners worldwide and has a turnover of approximately SKr1 30 million. Post Danmark and Posten Norge now own 50 per cent each of Pan Nordic Logistics. The organisation has 300 posting and delivery centres across Sweden. The acquisition of Posten AB’s shares follows a share transfer agreement made between Post Danmark, Posten Norge, Posten AB and PNL on 6 December 2001 approved by the relevant competition authorities.
