Schenker streamlines UK activities

The new firm generated by the merger of Schenker-BTL and Schenker Ltd operates a total of 18 branches in the United Kingdom with a staff of approximately 490. The company has stated that it is targeting an annual turnover of over GBP 92 millionIhe new firm has been named Schenker Limited.

One-stop shop

Overland transport activities, air-/scafreight and all the related logistics services are now offered by the same provider. Hans Schlausch, managing director of Schenker Ltd. commented: <>.

Schenker’s UK customers now have convenient
access to the company’s wide and expanding range of services through its 18 office nationwide network stretching from Glasgow in Scotland to London in the south. The latest addition to that network is the Logistics Centrer at Laindon in Essex which is a purpose-built facility designed to cater for every conceivable customer requirement.
