Fiege wins office deal

Fiege Merlin, the UK subsidiary of German-based Flege Loqistik Group, has been awarded a £50m, fiveyear logistics contract with office product supplier Corporate Express.
Under the deal, which has developed over five years, Corporate Express will transfer its drivers over to Fiege which will provide a full distribution service for the company.
Stephen Barter, Fieqe md, says: “It’s not Just the size of the contract which is important to us, it is the quality. We can only be truly effective as a logistics provider if we can work closely with our customers over a period of time and if the values and business principles are well aligned.”
