No substance to Wilson sale talks with DFDS Transport

Wilson Logistics last week denied rumours it was for sale and in talks with fellow Scandinavia-based forwarder DFDS Transport.
AWilson spokeswoman said: “I think these rumours have come about because our owners have said they will not be our owners in the long term, and we are the only Scandinavian forwarder with a global presence.

We have not had any discussions with DFDS Transport.

“Of course, when we go to the stock exchange, we will be for sale every morning.” The group has said it will be floated on the Swedish stock market over the next few years.

Wilson said last week it had acquired UK-based niche forwarder Prime Express, and two weeks ago announced it was buying Swedish forwarder Exceed for t17m.
