Europa appoint new directors

The new team of four Directors have been brought in by Andrew Baxter, who acquired Europa in August last year. They will support the existing Board of Russell Keep (Group Finance Director), Carl Potter (Administration Director) and Richard Cronk (Operations Director).

The new Directors have all worked previously at RH Freight, later sold to Kuehne+Nagel.  The team comprises Richard Litchfield (IT Director) who is leading a £1.5m investment in IT infrastructure to support the growth of Europa, Dionne Redpath (Sales & Branch Network Director), who has already set up a brand new regional management structure.

They are joined by Angus Hind (Air, Ocean & Logistics Director) who is focusing on this growing A,O & L service including the Hong Kong operations and Dan Cook who will replace Richard Cronk as Operations Director in August. One of Dan’s key focuses is leading on the development of Europa’s new southern hub, which will be operational in spring 2015.

Andrew Baxter, Managing Director of Europa commented “The new Directors that we have brought in are an excellent group who bring combined 60 years’ experience to Europa to further strengthen our already first-rate team.

“I have worked alongside each of the four new Directors before and know that individually they bring exceptional skills, passion and drive, and will work together to maximise Europa’s potential.  We can now push on to further enhance this ever developing company.”

Europa is expecting to add a number of additional routes throughout 2014 and it also has plans to open another branch in the east midlands area to further strengthen its distribution infrastructure.
