Peak-Ryzex helps consumers to streamline their mobile services

Mobile solutions specialist Peak-Ryzex has expanded its Managed Mobility Services to devices such as consumer tablets, smartphones (Android, Apple iOS and Windows 8) and other wireless products. The new offering was devised in response to end-users extending mobile devices increasingly across their operations, resulting in a need for professional outsourcing support.

The new scheme enables companies with mixed mobile device estates to benefit from from outsourcing all their mobility needs to a single managed services provider regardless of the type of device or operating system.

The service mirrors the comprehensive managed mobility services Peak-Ryzex  already provides for rugged, industrial mobile devices.
The increasing growth in BYOD (bring your own device) is also adding demand for mobile device management (MDM) services that enable consistent availability of mobile application and devices plus secure access to company data; critical components for supporting a growing mobile workforce

Damian Penney, Managing Director of Peak Ryzex, Europe says, “Mobility is expanding in all directions going far beyond traditional rugged devices as the market recognises the productivity and efficiency gains achievable through deploying mobile across various areas of the business. This dramatic expansion of mobile devices in the enterprise setting results in an exponential set of new IT, device management and security challenges.”

“This is particularly important, for example where a customer may have front-of-store staff using iPads to take orders and collect payments right through to the use of rugged industrial barcode scanners in their warehouse for picking operations. In such instances our customers need to know that they can rely on us to look after the entire mobile device estate, letting them get on with running their business. We’ll also be able to guide them during their planning stages, developing an overall mobile strategy and making sure that they are making the right technology choices.

Increasingly we have seen customers seeing the value from our cloud-based business intelligence services where we collect and analyse mobile-related data across a business to proactively pinpoint potential technological and user challenges ultimately helping the mobile workforce to drive customer satisfaction.”

The new enterprise consumer offering will provide full end-to-end solutions covering Discovery (device selection, deployment, procurement), Deployment (staging and configuration), Help Desk Support (mobile device, operating system, application, connectivity), Management (spare pool, next working day exchange, repair), Mobile Device Management (remote troubleshooting and IT policy enforcement), and Reporting/Analytics (reporting, analysis, and process optimisation).
