TNT awarded a new contract from Banglalink

TNT Express in Bangladesh has signed a partnership agreement with Banglalink, and marked the occasion with a special ceremony attended by Rajiv Bhattacharya, Country General Manager for TNT Express in Bangladesh, and Mahabubul Alam Banglalink ‘s Senior General Manager for Marketing. Banglalink is the 2nd largest mobile telecom operator in Bangladesh with over 29 million subscribers, and it’s an important subsidiary of Netherlands based Vimpelcom ltd.

Under this agreement Banglalink premium customers called “Priyojon customers”, will benefit from making substantial savings, when using TNT services from now till February 19, 2015, when the agreement will be reviewed.

Mahabubul Alam, Senior General Manager, Marketing for Banglalink said: “We have selected TNT Express because of their long history in the Bangladesh logistics Market and their global presence. Our premium customers will have the opportunity to use TNT Express service solutions at competitive rates.  This partnership will be particularly beneficial to our clients with international requirements.”

Rajiv Bhattacharya, Country General Manager for TNT Express in Bangladesh said: “The Signature of this agreement with Banglalink,  re-emphasizes the full  TNT Express commitment to support and collaborate with local businesses and help nurturing Bangladesh growth across the courier services industry.”

 Tim Frank, TNT Express General Manager Middle East & Subcontinent Associates commented: “We are very pleased to continue expanding our reach to a larger customer audience. Our association with Banglalink will enable us  to provide our services to their premium subscribers, making our orange experience more visible and  more accessible.”
