TNT International Mail UK launches new web based facility

TNT International Mail UK has launched a web-based electronic bill presentation and payment facility under the name Online Invoicing. The company claims to be the first in the mail and courier industry to offer this feature, which allows customers to access their invoices and service history and make payments using a high-security user name and password. The system has been developed using XML protocol, which allows live data to be accessed for interrogation. Customers can analyse data such as spend patterns or balances when forming strategic business plans or setting budgets. Sales and marketing director Mark Woodcock said: “I would see this working especially well in high-volume businesses such as publishing or direct marketing.
