Amazon Prime Now offering one-hour deliveries from “local stores” in Manhattan

Amazon.com has announced that, for customers in Manhattan, its Prime Now service is offering one-hour delivery for goods from “local stores”, in addition to the tens of thousands of items already available through the service. From today (Thursday, 21 May), customers in “select neighborhoods” in Manhattan can purchase groceries, prepared meals and baked goods from D’Agostino, Gourmet Garage and Billy’s Bakery through the Prime Now app.

Dave Clark, Amazon’s senior vice president of worldwide operations said: “We are launching delivery from local stores through Prime Now in Manhattan today and will add local stores in other cities where we offer Prime Now soon.”
