Posti expands parcel locker network

Finland’s national postal service Posti has reported that more automated parcel locker terminals were added to its national network this month. New parcel locker terminals were installed in seven towns: Lappeenranta, Kuopio, Hamina, Jyväskylä, Maskuun, Vääksy and Jokela. The national network now includes 476 terminals.

As previously reported, the parcel locker terminals have been gaining popularity, and have become a standard delivery option for online stores. Over 50% more deliveries went through these pickup points in 2014 compared to 2013.
