Deutsche Post content with minimal competition

From 2006 onwards, the weight limit will be reduced to 50 grams in a second step towards liberalization.

At present, Deutsche Post still has an exclusive license for letters weighing up to 200 grams.

By amending the Postal Act, the German legislator will be implementing the Directive issued by the European Union to liberalise the postal market in Europe.

Deutsche Post World Net thinks the simultaneous opening of postal markets in Europe will create new market opportunities.
