Amazon Prime Now launches in London

Amazon has started offering one-hour delivery or same-day, two-hour delivery windows in some areas of London for Prime members. The company announced the launch of the new service on its website yesterday (30 June).
Prime members can now get delivery within one-hour of ordering for £6.99, or within a two-hour, same-day window for free. The delivery runs from 8am – midnight, 7 days a week, but it is only available in some postcodes.
The service will be available for staple, “everyday” products including coffee, batteries and nappies, as well as other popular items such as games consoles, toys and sports equipment.
Prime members can use the Amazon website to check whether the service is available in their post code. Amazon intends to roll the service out through the UK capital city by the end of the year.
