TNT and Mira sign agreement

The TNT Express Brasil (subsidiary of TNT Post Group) specialized in express delivery services and the Brazilian company Mira Transportes, focused in cargo transportation signed a partnership contract that can represent a turnover of U$5mil per year. Mira will be in charge of the know-how for 25 years in Center-West region and TNT Express will available its international trademark. Mira expects a turnover of R$60mil in 2002 and aims to double its fleet of 300 automobiles over the next four years. TNT Express has a fleet of 150 vehicles and 500 employees in Brazil.
