DHL Express rolling out new service in Australia

DHL Express Oceania is reportedly starting the rollout a new global delivery platform for online retailers and consumers in Australia. Gary Edstein, senior vice-president, DHL Express Oceania, was quoted in an article published by The Australian today (6 July) as saying that Australia had been chosen for the rollout of the new delivery model because of its “incredibly strong B2C market”.

“The On Demand Delivery model is a global solution we are working on where you the consumer will have a whole range of options with respect to the final delivery – authority to leave, deliver to neighbour, change date of delivery, etc,” Edstein was quoted as saying.

“Australia will be one of the first countries to take on this global platform.”
