German forwarder group networks with Lufthansa

The Future Group,a partnership of five forwarders based in Germany became the first group member to be accepted into Lufthansa Cargos Business Partnership Programme.
The move is seen as a significant advance for the group, set up in May to allow the medium-sized forwarders to compete with the air cargo buying power of the big global forwarders.
The Dascher, Birkart, Geis, hartrodt and M&M grouping has become Germanys third biggest air freight forwarder.
As a business partner, it will network its systems into those of Lufthansa Cargo with the aim of creating a more integrated air cargo chain.
Future spokesman Jorg Vietz said: This clearly shows the importance Lufthansa Cargo is attaching to a successful co-operation with the group.
