USPS awards contract for delivery trucks to Morgan Olson

The US Postal Service has awarded a contract worth more than $250m to Morgan Olson LLC for walk-in body intermediate delivery trucks. According to a notice posted on the US Federal Business Opportunities website (www.FedBizOpps.gov), the contract was awarded on 2 July.

The walk-in design means drivers can enter the van on the passenger side, reducing their  exposure to traffic and decreasing over all stop time.

Michigan-based Morgan Olson has had a long-standing relationship with USPS.
