UPS opens new GBS centre in Poland

UPS has opened a new Global Business Services (GBS) centre in the city of Lodz. This is the second GBS centre based in Poland. The company opened its first Polish centre in Wroclaw in 2006.

“Poland represents an important market for UPS and our customers,” said Carol Brolley, Vice President, UPS GBS. “This new GBS center in Lodz will allow us to increase the efficiency of our administrative operations throughout Europe, which will result in improved quality and standardization of processes, while offering skilled jobs to members of the community in the Lodz area.”

A UPS division, GBS provides shared international services, including information services, customer service and accounting.
