Rhenus Logistics opens new Heathrow depot

Rhenus Logistics UK has opened a new facility located close to Heathrow airport. The Heathrow facility specialises in air and ocean freight.

Rhenus Logistics’ national network of depots currently handles around 220,000 consignments each year for more than 9,000 clients in the UK.

Spencer Davern, general manager at Rhenus Heathrow, said: “It’s very exciting to be joining Rhenus Logistics UK during such a steady period of growth. The decision to open a site at Heathrow is a key part of Rhenus’ strategic plans to improve UK and EU gateways and will further strengthen Rhenus’ air and ocean provision in the UK, allowing the company to continue its expansion of services and capability.
