Salvesen wins contract with Ben & Jerrys

Christian salvesen has scooped a pan-European contract with luxury ice-cream manufacturer Ben & Jerrys.
Ben & Jerrys has decided to replace third-party contractors in France and Belgium with Christian Salvesen for its distribution needs on the continent in a bid to simplify its logistics operation.
Christian Salvesen will be working out of its shared user depots in Nuneaton and Lille, France for the contract, distributing the US manufactured goods across the UK, France, Belgium and Spain. There are plans to develop further on the continent.
For the past four years Christian Salvesens UK food and consumer division has been handling Ben & Jerrys UK logistics as part of its temperature-controlled network.
