Amazon Canada kicks off holiday season with launch of Black Friday Deals Store

Amazon Canada (Amazon.ca) yesterday (2 November) kicked off the online shopping “holiday season” with the launch of its Black Friday Deals Store and Electronics Holiday Gift Guide. The company is, as usual, trying to incentivise its online shoppers to sign up for the Prime service. This year, Amazon has introduced “Prime Early Access” for Prime members, which provides 30-minutes of early access to limited-time “Lightning Deals”.
