Parcel Connect, a service which allows customers to send, collect and return online goods directly or via their local Payzone shop, has signed a contract with Ireland-based delivery management platform Scurri. According to the companies, the contract, which Parcel Connect has signed alongside its parent company, Fastway Couriers Ireland, will “see Scurri facilitate the delivery of over €3.4bn worth of merchandise value, forecast to be ordered through online retailers such as Littlewoods, ASOS, BooHoo and MissGuided, over the next five years”.

Scurri will provide barcode-labelling technology to over 15,000 customers of the Fastway Couriers group and also provide technical support and development services for the business including the innovative Parcel Connect Platform.

Commenting on the partnership, Danny Hughes, the CEO of Parcel Connect and representative of the Fastway Couriers Group, said: “Our most recent challenge has been capitalizing on opportunities that improve our customers’ delivery experience by executing developments on time or ahead of schedule. Being able to action ideas in a lean-viable way, with confidence in our ability to adjust quickly, has paid dividends in our progress over the last six months.”
