Tesco looking to add dotcom warehouse to Dudley superstore

Tesco is planning to set up a warehouse dedicated to fulfilling online sales at its Burnt Tree Island superstore on the Dudley/Sandwell border in the UK’s West Midlands. According to a report published today (23 November) in the local newspaper Express & Star, Tesco is looking to create more than 70 new jobs as part of the warehouse plans.

Customer orders will be loaded in the vans from 4am and 1pm, and the home deliveries will take place between 6.30am and 11pm.

Sources at Tesco told Post&Parcel today that there has been no official briefing on the plans, but confirmed that the details of the story are correct.
