Deutsche Post DHL Group offers more training positions

Deutsche Post DHL Group has announced that it will be offering 2,458 new training positions and academic courses of study in the coming year. In a statement posted on its website today, the company said that this is 83 more positions than in the previous year.

The company added that “the goal is to take on every suitable graduate in a permanent employment relationship once their training has been completed”.

The majority of training positions on offer will be in the Post – eCommerce – Parcel division (PeP).

“Here,” said the company’s statement, “2,002 training positions will be created next year, primarily dedicated to turning young people into courier, express and postal service specialists. The division has a wide range of services, from mail items and parcels, through merchandise shipments, all the way to special services such as cash on delivery, registered mail and insured items.”

The Group will also be looking to train people as mechatronics technicians, warehouse logistics experts, specialists in freight forwarding and logistics services or office management.
