New CEO for San Francisco-based food delivery company

Bentley Hall has joined the San Francisco-based food delivery start-up Good Eggs as the company’s new CEO. Hall, who has previously worked for Plum Organics, Clif Bar and Johnson & Johnson, will work alongside Good Eggs founders Rob Spiro and Alon Salant. Spiro, who has been the company’s CEO, will now become the Chairman.

In a blog posted yesterday announcing Hall’s appointment, Spiro said: “More and more folks are relying on Good Eggs to feed their families every week, with overall sales growing faster than ever. Recently, we celebrated our first $100,000 day in sales.”

However, while the company has been ramping up its home town activities, its ventures outside the San Francisco area have been less successful, according to local reports.
