La Poste Group Chooses Siebel 7

Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEBL), a leading provider of multichannel eBusiness applications software, today announced that La Poste Group has chosen to implement Siebel 7. La Poste Group is implementing Siebel Sales 7, which embeds best practices that help selling organizations grow revenues predictably and profitably by providing the means to focus on the right deals at the right time, and Siebel Analytics 7, the complete next-generation business and customer analytics solution. Together, these Siebel eBusiness Applications enable La Poste Group to create a 360-degree understanding of the business customers that comprise 90 percent of its mail business. It will also enable La Poste Group to cross- and up-sell additional added value mail solutions, increase revenues, and improve business customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Using Siebel Sales 7, La Poste Group can now leverage the proven business processes within a powerful CRM system that provides more than 3,000 field sales professionals with 360-degree customer insight. Using the unified view, they are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the customer's environment, including the names of the key decision makers within the organization, the mail volume the customer is already sending via La Poste, which existing mail services the customer has registered for, current pricing and discounting offers, and the status of any outstanding customer inquiries. This enables La Poste Group to identify and focus on key accounts, respond quickly to opportunities, and manage these opportunities to closure.

La Poste Group is also creating actionable intelligence using Siebel Analytics 7. Integrating closely with Siebel Sales 7, it provides the company with rich, real-time insight into sales pipelines and the performance of sales individuals, teams, and customers.
