Strike at Amazon’s German warehouses

Workers at six Amazon warehouses in Germany went on strike on Monday morning (21 December). The union Ver.di released a statement today saying that the strike action had been taken as a result of a dispute over wages.

Sources at Amazon told local media that only a small minority of workers at the affected warehouses were on strike and that there would be “no impact” on the company’s “customer delivery promise”.
