Amazon reportedly set to take full ownership of Colis Privé

Amazon is reportedly set to take full ownership of the French logistics company Colis Privé. As previously reported by Post&Parcel, Amazon already owns 25% of the company and indicated back in October that it intended to buy the remaining 75% in 2016. Reports published by The Seattle Times and Fortune this week suggest that this move could be imminent.

The reports suggest that Colis Privé will continue to ship packages on behalf of all e-commerce customers after the acquisition.

Amazon has been ramping up its distribution infrastructure in Europe recently – spurred on, at least in part, by the expansion of its Amazon Prime Now and Amazon Pantry coverage.
