Whistl appoints New Business Manager in Northern Ireland

Whistl has appointed Ryan Kinnear as New Business Manager to lead its expansion in Northern Ireland. Kinnear has joined Whistl from Neopost and will be based at the company’s depot on Hightown Industrial Estate in Newtownabbey, Belfast. He will be responsible for expanding Whistl’s public and private sector client base.

Commenting on his appointment, Kinnear said: “I am delighted to join the team at Newtownabbey; Whistl has an excellent track record of customer service in the province through providing a range of cost efficient mail and packet and parcel delivery services to clients.”

Whistl has been operating in Northern Ireland since 2010 and is the only alternative national postal operator in the province, handling over 50 million items a year.  The company collects and sorts bulk mail items from clients including statements, marketing materials and packets and parcels, and transports them for delivery by a third party to householders and businesses across the UK.
