Nimber spreads the Friday feeling

Nimber has announced that it is now the official delivery partner for Friday Ad in the UK. Established as a free classified newspaper in 1975, Friday-Ad launched its website Friday-Ad.co.uk  in 1994. According to the company: “Today over 362,000 ads are placed online each week, attracting a total of 2.3 million visitors per year.”

In a statement posted on its official blog, Nimber said: “This will greatly grow our community of senders and provide countless tasks for bringers to pick up on their travels. Friday boasts 2.4 million visitors per month with over 300,000 ads live on the site. Now, all of them will be available for delivery.

“Just like we learned when we partnered with Finn.no in Norway, having Nimber as a partner helps make the country smaller and gives people the access to items that they wouldn’t otherwise have.”

Nimber describes itself as a “collaborative peer-to-peer service that connects people who need to send something from one place to another with people going that way anyway”.

The company started up its delivery operations in Norway and then expanded into the UK market last year.
